The ideal candidate is organized, self-directed, comfortable learning new tools, and able to manage recurring responsibilities with limited day-to-day oversight.

Roles & Responsibilities

Social Media & Content

  • Take day-to-day ownership of BioSqueeze’s social media, blog, and content calendar, with strategic guidance and review from the Director, Marketing & Commercial Operations.
  • Plan, draft, edit, format, schedule, and publish content across the BioSqueeze website, blog, and LinkedIn.
  • Create on-brand graphics and visual assets for social media, blogs, events, presentations, and other marketing needs.
  • Coordinate internal reviews and collect technical input needed to produce accurate, timely content.
  • Maintain an organized content library and repurpose existing blogs, case studies, presentations, and technical materials into new content.
  • Monitor content performance and website or social-media inquiries, and ensure relevant leads are entered and routed appropriately in HubSpot.

Events & Conferences

  • Maintain BioSqueeze’s central database of conferences, trade shows, technical meetings, sponsorships, and other relevant industry events.
  • Research and identify events aligned with BioSqueeze’s commercial priorities; prepare recommendations while final attendance and sponsorship decisions remain with the Director, Marketing & Commercial Operations.
  • Keep event records current, including dates, locations, audiences, costs, registration details, sponsorship and exhibitor options, contacts, links, and internal notes.
  • Identify and track deadlines and required actions for registration, abstracts, presentations, sponsorships, booth materials, shipping, travel, collateral, and post-event follow-up.
  • Research attendee, exhibitor, speaker, and sponsor lists to identify target accounts and contacts for the sales team.
  • Identify relevant technical presentations, sessions, networking opportunities, and speaking or submission opportunities.
  • Maintain the shared event calendar and event budget tracker, including anticipated and actual expenses.
  • Support pre-event preparation and post-event follow-up, including lead entry, list cleanup, contact research, and event reporting.

HubSpot & Commercial Operations

Prior HubSpot experience is not required, although it is a strong advantage. The intern will receive guidance and work closely with the Director, Marketing & Commercial Operations.

  • Enter, organize, and properly associate leads generated through events, referrals, outreach, and other channels.
  • Research and resolve duplicate contacts and companies, maintain accurate associations, and support ongoing CRM data quality.
  • Pull recurring weekly reports and distribute approved reports and exception lists to the sales team.
  • Conduct a monthly forecast audit by comparing HubSpot deal data with the current job and operations schedule, and flag discrepancies for review.
  • Audit records for missing information, outdated close dates, incomplete associations, overdue tasks, inconsistent naming, and other data-quality issues.
  • Document CRM procedures, maintain process checklists, and assist with testing workflows, reports, and automation.
  • With training, help replicate the Oil & Gas CRM infrastructure and operating processes for emerging markets such as defense, mining, infrastructure, and other new applications.
  • With training, develop and maintain a CRM scorecard that tracks data quality, process compliance, pipeline hygiene, and reporting readiness.

Additional Support

  • Conduct targeted market, account, contact, and competitor research, and assist with sales and marketing materials, shared databases, project trackers, and other recurring commercial-operations needs.
